St. Luke's offering session on healthful lifestyle

Milwaukee Journal, The,  Mar 8, 1995

Had it with diets? To encourage people to focus on good health habits rather than weight loss, St. Luke's Medical Center is offering a free community lecture March 21, a Tuesday, called "Not Another Diet! Instead, A Resolution That Will Succeed."

Shay Harris, a social worker at Milwaukee Psychiatric Hospital, and Carol Johnson, a representative from Largely Positive Inc., will be the featured speakers at the 7 p.m. lecture. In their presentation, they will explain why diets fail and how to stabilize weight and improve health. They also will explore the myth about being overweight.

The lecture will be held in Rooms 1 and 2 at St. Luke's Health Science Building at 2900 W. Oklahoma Ave. For more information or to register, call Women's Health Care Services, 649-6719.
