Attorney Jack Capella resigned as chief operating officer of the New Orleans Hornets. Capella was vice president of corporate affairs and general counsel during the Hornets' first season in New Orleans in 2002-03. Capella had been the point of contact for ensuring the Hornets met all business operation and community goals.
I feel that my primary responsibilities and goals with the Hornets were accomplished and there are new challenges and opportunities that I want to pursue, said Capella.
