Pliskin Realty & Development brokers big Long Island dealsg

Long Island Business News,  Jun 24, 2005  by Dawn Wotapka Hardesty

In Golfsmith's 10-year deal in Carle Place, Brian Schuster of Ripco Real Estate represented the golf retailer while Jeff Pliskin, president of Pliskin Realty & Development, represented the landlord.

Pliskin also brokered the sale of 2.6 acres in Riverhead to Unicorp National Development, which will replace a mobile home site with a Walgreens drug store. In Middle Island, competitor Eckerd Corp. inked a 20-year lease at the intersection of Rocky Point and Middle Country roads. Pliskin Executive Vice President Marvin Hartman brokered the deals.

Meanwhile, Senior Vice President Jerry Small and Associate Director Mandy Cantor led Relax The Back, a retailer of products designed to ease and prevent back and neck pain, to 2,100 square feet at 203 Mineola Ave. in Roslyn Heights.

That will be Long Island's third location. The La Palma, Calif.- based company also has franchises in Huntington Station and in Sayville, according to its Web site.
