MD financial firms announce staffing changes: October 21, 2005

Rising Sun Bancorp Inc. and its banking affiliate, NBRS Financial, hired Stephen W. Lilly as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was previously controller of Valley Bank of Maryland and has more than 10 years experience in private and public accounting specializing in the financial services industry.

The company added three others to the staff at NBRS Financial: Frederick J. Eikenberg Jr. in the role of vice president and commercial lender for the bank; Elizabeth Ball-Burril as business relationship manager serving the lending needs of Cecil County small businesses; and Lance C. Miller as vice president and mortgage lender, based out of the Rising Sun office.

Herbert W. Finn, a former board member of Prudential Securities and a long-standing member of its operating council, joined mid- sized investment bank The Riderwood Group as a senior managing director and a member of the firm's Management Committee.

Finn will draw upon more than 25 years of experience in building profitable departments, acquiring firms and evaluating and hiring key personnel to assist Riderwood as it grows and executes upon its plan for dramatic growth beyond the Baltimore/Washington corridor, where it has been located for more than 20 years.
