Renaissance Festival in full swing

BONNER SPRINGS --- The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is in its 28th season at the same location in Bonner Springs.
This season began Sept. 4-6 with Pirate's Paradise. It will continue to run Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 16-17.
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival takes attendees back in time to a 16th-century village. Guests can enjoy entertainment, a variety of food and beverages and shopping.
Opening gate ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m. each weekend. The gates close at 7 p.m.
Adult ticket prices at the gate are $15.95, tickets for children are $7.95, students and seniors are $14.50 and two-day passes are $25. Children under 5 are admitted free.
