Antioch teens robbed at gunpoint Sunday
Oakland Tribune, Mar 17, 2008 by Matthias Gafni
Three Antioch teens were robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening after letting a man enter their apartment after he asked for a drink of water, police said.
Two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old woman returned home around 9:33 p.m. on the 1500 block of Sycamore Drive when they noticed three men outside their residence, Antioch police Lt. Pat Welch said.
Five minutes later, one of the men knocked on the victims' door asking for a drink of water. When one of the residents let him in, two other men barged through the door, one with a handgun, and "bumrushed" the victims, Welch said.
The three suspects stole a laptop, video game, video game console and cell phones, Welch said.
