Boy, 15, in critical condition after shooting in East Oakland

. OAKLAND - A 15-year old boy was in critical condition this morning after being shot several times in East Oakland. The boy's name has not been released.
The shooting happened about 8:40 a.m. in the 1500 block of 52nd Avenue.
The boy was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in extremely critical condition.
Police said they did not determine a motive for the shooting and do not know if the shooter approached on foot or shot the boy from a car.
