NORA BEAVERS
Passed away peacefully, September 24, 2006 after a lengthy illness at the age of 77. She was a resident of Redwood City for 50 years.
Cherished loving mother of Lucy Beeman of Fremont, CA and Michael Beavers of Crestline, CA. Dear mother in-law of Curtis Beeman and Becky Beavers. Devoted grandmother of Jason, Trisha and Briana Beeman.
Nora was a retired employee of Grass Manufacturing for 30 years. She volunteered her time with St. Anthony's dining Room in Menlo Park. She enjoyed gardening and taking walks.
Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Menlo Park CRIPPEN & FLYNN

JOHN M. BRAY
Passed away at home in San Mateo on September 24, 2006. Loving husband of devoted wife Catherine J. Bray. Loving father of John W. Bray. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Bray and John B. Bray. Dear brother of Agnes Pool, Helen Maher, and Tomas Bray, and the late Mary Kunz and Richard Bray. Loving brother-in-law of Lorraine Richter, Waltina Cain, Audrey Tomei, Achille Paladini, and the late Walter Paladini and Tom Grossi. Cherished son of the late John K. Bray and Brigid Bray. Also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A native of San Francisco, and 36 year resident of San Mateo, John graduated from St. Peters High School and attended USF. He was a Navy veteran of WW II in the South Pacific.
Friends are invited to visit from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at SNEIDER & SULLIVAN & O'CONNELL'S FUNERAL HOME, 977 So. VIVIENNE EILEEN CRAIG
May 23, 1944 - September 19, 2006
Vivienne Craig passed away peacefully in her home in Foster City, California at the age of 62.
She was born to Glen H. and Mildred D. Murphy in Rock Island County, Illinois, where she was raised. After high school graduation in 1962, she worked at the Rock Island Arsenal until she moved to California in 1966.
In 1970, she married George Craig, residing in China Lake and San Francisco until 1972, when they moved to Foster City to raise their family. Vivienne retired from Redwood City Housing and Redevelopment Department in 2005 after 17 years of service.
Vivienne's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren. Another one of her favorite past times was to research genealogy and pass on that knowledge to her family and friends.
Vivienne is survived by her husband, George; two sons (and daughters-in-law), Timothy (Lan) Craig and Daniel (Caroline) Craig; one daughter (and son-in-law) Susan (Michael) Valenzuela; and four grandchildren, Nathan, Jonah and Alexa Valenzuela and Colleen Craig. She is also survived by her siblings in Illinois, one brother, Marvin Murphy, and four sisters, Joanne Friedrichsen, Kathleen Kohrt, Glenda DeDoncker, and Sandra Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to extend special thanks for the extraordinary care given by the Kaiser Hospice Healthcare staff and all the love and support given by the family.
Family and friends may celebrate Vivienne's life at a memorial service at the Island United Church, 1130 Balclutha Drive, Foster City, on Saturday, September 30 at 2:00 pm.
Contributions may be made to the Kainos Home and Training Center, 3631 Jefferson Avenue, Redwood City, CA 94062 in lieu of flowers.
JAMES EDWIN FELSENTHAL
Died September 20, 2006, one day before his 67th birthday in Las Vegas. Born in South San Francisco in 1939 to Vincent Felsenthal and Lillian Belvedere Felsenthal, Jim graduated from South City High in 1957 and then spent several years in the U.S. Army where he was stationed at Fort Ord and in Korea. He began working as a Customer Service Representative for United Airlines at the San Francisco Airport in March 1960. There he met Barbara Jean Hanson of Detroit, whom he married in 1962. Jim and Barbara were residents of San Mateo and Fremont prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1996. He retired from United in October 1998. Jim enjoyed reading, participating in and watching all sports, and enjoyed the love of his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, who died in June 2005 and his parents. He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Lee Wagner (Doug) and Lynn Marie Harman (Tom) both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, Kristen Soto of Rescue (Sacramento), Dustin Wagner, Lee Ann Wagner, John Harman and Gabriele Harman; a step-granddaughter, Chelsey Wagner and her son, Brian, all of Las Vegas, and two sisters, June Balestieri of South San Francisco and Susan Parry of St. Helena.
