East African Development Bank Gets $1.28 Million for IT

African Development Bank (ADB) had given the East African Development Bank (EADB) a grant of $1.28 million to improve its information technology system to cope with the increased business. The improvement will also enhance efficiency.
Yhe money would be used to support economic development and industrial growth of the member sates of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

The loan would strengthen EADB's lending capacity to finance more viable investments in East Africa. EADB finances viable projects in all productive sectors in East Africa, with key emphasis on those projects with capacity to spur more regional development. - (World IT Report.com)
