India's domestic air travel market expanded 8 percent in the first half of 2003/04, industry figures showed, signalling a demand revival after two years of poor growth.

Figures from the state-owned Airports Authority of India, which manages India 's 122 airports, showed 14.63 million passengers filed through its terminals in April-September 2003 compared with 13.55 million in the year-ago period.
