I'm a great fan of big luxurious leather bags like the Mulberry maxi Mabel (0207 491 3900, www.mulberry.com). Man bags are fine as long as you keep them functional and utilitarian - and I feel the same way about clothes. I always go to Ralph Lauren (1 New Bond Street, London W1, 0207 535 4600) for good quality basics like T- shirts, socks and underwear. Accessories are incredibly important to me, so I once spent a lot of money on this beautiful crocodile-skin belt from Herms (155 New Bond Street, London W1, 0207 823 1014). It was Incredibly self-indulgent - but if I wear it every day for the rest of my life then it will be worth it! For the home, I love shopping in Labour and Wait (18 Cheshire Street, London E2, 020 7729 6253) for all the old, traditional bits and pieces like pegs, mops and buckets.

--don't have a particular grooming routine, but I go for a deep- tissue massage at the Cowshed at Shoreditch House, (www.shoreditchhouse.com) to de-stress.
