Telecoms_ Carphone tipped for FTSE 100

> Carphone Warehouse is poised for entry to the FTSE 100 thanks to Virgin Media's problems. Collins Stewart says that Virgin's lacklustre results will affect morale and bolster Carphone's broadband customer base (Virgin said it lost 70,000 customers in the second quarter). The investment bank expects Carphone's earnings to double in the next two years, and for it to push for FTSE 100 inclusion in the September review.
