Never mind the eye bags, darling, we'll sort them out ...
Independent on Sunday, The, Aug 5, 2007 by Katy Guest
First Penelope Cruz's eyelashes expanded, then Michelle Pfeiffer's eye bags disappeared; now Kelly Osbourne has appeared looking smooth and glossy and minus several stone of annoying fat (and we don't mean her brother). People are beginning to get suspicious.
When posters were published showing Kelly looking saucy in a basque for her new role in 'Chicago', some people were even mean enough to suggest the airbrusher's art. "I would say the only part of this that is really Kelly is her bust area," griped one expert. "It has been stretched and thinned and a large amount of retouching done."
Airbrushing is nothing new. But at least Kelly kept her bosom. For others, the front pages of magazines appear to act like a bizarre hall of mirrors.
Keira's new friends
"Those things certainly weren't mine," said Keira Knightley of her suddenly larger-than-life poster for the film 'King Arthur'.
Sizing up McLoughlin
Coleen denied she had been shrunk in this photo promoting her new perfume. So has the standing Coleen been digitally enlarged, then?
Kelly zero
Ozzy Osbourne's lass vamps it up in this 'Chicago' poster - where's it all gone, girl?
Not so naked chef
Is it our imagination, or is Jamie Oliver looking rather handsome on this 'Radio Times' cover? We suspect a long holiday - or a teeny touch-up.
Kate's corset - and long, long pins
When Kate Winslet appeared super skinny on the cover of 'GQ', no one was more surprised: "They've reduced the size of my legs by about a third."
