Police fearful for missing teenage girl
Independent on Sunday, The, Aug 5, 2007
Police hunting the missing teenager Natasha Coombs last night began to prepare her family for the worst. The 17-year-old, from Dovercourt, Essex, vanished eight days ago. Police inspector Adrian Dearsley said: "As time goes on we must look to the possibility of finding a body." Her father, Gary, 48, spoke of the "unimaginable pain" he and his 40-year-old wife were suffering.
They were due to go on holiday today, as searchers combed woodland near to Mannington train station, where a signal from her mobile phone was last traced.
