Show us your ribs, Justin

Leaving aside the news that Shilpa Shetty is to open a chain of Indian restaurants, and the completely fictitious rumour that Jade Goody is to open a chain of salad bars, in Justin Timberlake (pictured) a genuine star has joined the ranks of celebrity restaurateurs.
His recently opened Southern Hospitality, on Manhattan's Upper East Side, has a menu that boasts spare ribs, pulled pork, buttermilk biscuits and fried-green tomatoes. Let's just hope it does better than his ex; Britney Spears' similarly Southern-themed Manhattan restaurant NYLA, which opened in April 2002, was shuttered within the year.
Meanwhile, Mark Hix, chef director of Caprice Holdings, is to leave the company.
Hix, who oversaw the menus for the restaurant group that includes names such as The Ivy, J Sheekey and the recently relaunched Scott's, came to prominence earlier this year for his double triumph in the BBC's 'Great British Menu'. He apparently has plans to buy The Riverside Restaurant in Weymouth, Dorset.
