BA SEEMS TO BE in a mess. Not only has it forked out [pound]270m for anti-competitive behaviour, it is alienating customers. A banker calls at midnight in a fury. "I was trying to get to Miami, but the BA flight was cancelled. Could I get hold of anybody on BA's customer service number? No. Was anyone at the airport to help? No.
Will my bag get lost when I finally get on a flight? Probably."
