Great time to 'buy' BAE

CHARLES STANLEY wins the analyst note-of-the-week award for slapping a "Buy" recommendation on BAE just as the US Justice Department launches a probe into the defence giant. The broking firm admits its timing is "controversial" and that it has no idea how long the investigation will go on for or what the outcome will be.

Still, the stock is dubbed "outstandingly cheap" and a speculative buy. Fill your boots if you dare.
