Throw off your clothes: it is World Naturist Day. With nudist beaches legalised in Britain just over 25 years ago, nudist holidays are one of the fastest-growing niches of the travel industry. Abbey House in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, is hosting a Clothing Optional day, while US artist Spencer Tunick will photograph thousands of nudes in Amsterdam.

He brought his unique powers of the stitch-up to an interview with "Guardian" editor Alan Rusbridger. Now Piers Morgan turns his sights on Boris Johnson in the latest issue of "GQ". A master of the understatement, Morgan says his interview will be explosive. "Boris is incredibly frank and revealing. There is going to be a lot of fallout from this."

Terrorism trial due to start in Manchester

Omar Altimimi, 36, and Yusuf Abdullah, 29, go on trial at Manchester Crown Court. Altimimi faces four charges under the Terrorism Act 2000, and one other charge. Abdullah faces two charges.

Stones rock'n'roll back the years

The Isle of Wight Festival gets under way, with Snow Patrol headlining tonight. Next Sunday the Rolling Stones play their first UK festival since Knebworth in 1976. Also on the bill this year are Groove Armada, Muse, Keane, The Fratellis, Amy Winehouse and Kasabian. How many of them were even born in 1976?

Hotel heiress faces taste of the low life

Paris Hilton swaps the high life for a cell at the Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood, California. She was jailed last month for driving while banned. Hilton considered an appeal for a pardon to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her sentence was cut to 23 days.

Cyclists bare all in aid of a wheel revolution

Back where we began: naked. A thousand nude cyclists are expected to take to the streets of London for the World Naked Bike Ride, hosted in 54 cities globally. The event seeks to highlight the vulnerability of the human body in a car-dependent world threatened by climate change. Mind the saddle sores, though.

TV documentary to show Diana dying in car crash

Channel 4 is scheduled to air its documentary about Princess Diana's death, "Diana: The Witness in the Tunnel". Tory culture spokesman Hugo Swire urged bosses to shelve the programme, which features images of Diana as she lay dying. Channel 4 screened its "Queen Camilla", about the Duchess of Cornwall, last week.

Forthcoming events

Queues, strawberries, disputed calls and some tennis

For the first time ever, the Wimbledon women's singles champion will get the same at the men's winner - [pound]700,000. British hopes rest with Andy Murray, providing he recovers from the wrist injury that kept him out of the French Open. Defending champions are Amelie Mauresmo and Roger Federer. Play begins on 25 June.
