Regular cuddles may reduce women's risk of heart disease, and kind words do the same for men. Affectionate, physical contact is better for a woman's wellbeing than whispering sweet nothings, according to a study by the University of Zurich and Emory University, Atlanta. Such actions result in lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, reducing the risk of breakdowns. RD
