Come strip with me, Harvey

Judging by the sheer number of A-list attendees, it appears that the official after-party for the American Foundation for Aids Research dinner, held at the Eden Roc lounge of the ultra-luxurious Hotel du Cap and organised by the private-members club Quintessentially, is quickly becoming the French Riviera's version of the Vanity Fair Oscar party.
Guests including Quentin Tarantino, Mischa Barton and Dita von Teese (pictured) sipped champagne and munched foie-gras canapes, which caused panic among a couple of vegetarian models after they mistook them for chocolate truffles.
A male friend of mine who has a huge crush on Rosario Dawson remarked that "She looks so girl-next-door, but the one you'll only meet in your dreams..." Being Cannes, the dress code ranged from floor-length gowns to jeans and off-the-shoulder tops. Claudia Schiffer, looking resplendent in Chanel, led the model crowd, which included Gemma Ward, Lily Donaldson and Petra Nemcova.
Even in a party this elite, there had to be a VVIP room. So after chatting with guests, Harvey Weinstein pulled off his jacket and tie and retired to the pink-lit back room with his girlfriend Georgina Chapman.
Everyone was buzzing about the flamboyant Quintessentially member, who spent $20,000 for Kylie to get up on stage and spontaneously sing "The Locomotion" - though with so many big spenders around, it shouldn't have been a huge surprise. Later, guests went out on to the terrace for sneaky cigarettes and to watch the stunning fireworks display before being whisked away in chauffeur-driven Mercedes - leaving the unlucky ones, including me, to remove our killer heels and wait for taxis.
