A Chinese woman, Tang Meirong, was walking along a footpath in Chongqing city when a heavy object hit her on the head. It was a dead cat. After coming round, she called the police, who said they would not be able to trace the late animal's owner. So, in the absence of anyone confessing, she is suing every resident in the block. All 200 of them.
