The Museum

A new series that goes behind the scenes at the British Museum, which houses seven million artefacts including a renowned collection of Egyptian mummies. The first programme focuses on the employee who spent six years restoring paintings from the tomb of the ancient nobleman Nebamun.

Saddam's Tribe

9pm Channel 4

A docu-drama charting the downfall of Sad-dam Hussein, inspired by producer Monica Garnsey's interviews with the dictator's daughter Raghad. Stanley Townsend heads the cast in a story about a dynasty that survived on the strength of family loyalty but eventually collapsed in betrayal, corruption and a power struggle between Raghad's father and her brother Uday. Daniel Mays, Michelle Bonnard and Zubin Varla also star.

Hitler: The Comedy Years

11.05pm Channel 4

Hitler and the Nazi Party have provided a wealth of comedy material for more than 50 years, and were the inspiration behind famous sketches and routines by Monty Python, Spike Milligan and Freddie Starr. This programme questions why, or if, there is still a place for such humour on the British comedy circuit.

Radio: A Three-Minute Education

When Bruce Springsteen sang, "We learned more from a three- minute record, baby, than we ever learned in school," he might have been on to something, according to Word magazine's David Hepworth who says he learned about politics through the music of Bob Dylan. He talks to others who believe their ideas were fundamentally changed by pop records.
