I'm quite easygoing but I know I should be more assertive; when I was younger I was always told to never question grown-ups, and now I'm grown up I still don't, which makes me a bit of a walkover. I don't go clubbing as I find night-clubs claustrophobic, and I feel quite removed from gay culture. It's not a conscious thing that I do, it's just that a lot of it is populated by people with unbelievably gym-toned bodies, who are massively fashion conscious - so I always feel like I'm playing catch up.
