Toseland claims first pole position of season

> Britain's James Toseland begins today's two World Superbike Championship races at Assen, Holland, from pole position after setting the fastest lap in the Superpole qualifying session. The championship leader, racing for Ten Kate Honda, took his first pole of the season in a time of 1min 38.603sec, edging out Lorenzo Lanzi on the Xerox Ducati while Lanzi's team-mate, reigning champion Troy Bayliss, finished in third place.
