Sir: Dr Trevor Roberts' letter (29 July) could only come from a man.
A lot of time and help were needed to get my new babies to feed properly. It can be very difficult and painful and takes days to reach a satisfactory feeding routine; and although men will say breastfeeding is natural and just happens, for many women it does not.
This takes me back to my first pregnancy, when my husband said it was perfectly natural, not an illness, and he didn't expect to hear any more until the birth.
