Independent, The (London), Jul 31, 2002 by KATY GUEST
News recently published in New Scientist about the unusual mating habits of ladybirds is troubling the author of The English Patient, Michael Ondaatje. "I worry", Ondaatje revealed, "that this is a terrible metaphor for my writing."
