The ceramics and textiles artist Grayson Perry will give a free talk at the Curve gallery in the Barbican on 16 October, I'm told. The talk should be intriguing, if Perry's past attempts at a philosophical explanation of his work are anything to go by. Previous statements of intent include: "No matter how brash a statement I make, on a pot it will always have a certain humility."
