AETS ETC: BOOKS - WAYS WITH WORDS

Independent, The (London),  Nov 11, 2001

It's your last chance to book for the Southwold Literary Weekend in Suffolk, 16-18 November. But hurry - all the events are selling out fast. It's not surprising with authors of the calibre of Terry Waite, Douglas Hurd, Edna Healey, Peter Conradi, Matthew Sweet, Frances Spalding, Penelope Lively and Christopher Matthew - and the attractions of beer, wine and food from Adnams.

And it's not too early to start thinking about the annual summer festival in Devon. The dates for Dartington 2002 are 12-22 July and the programme comes out around Easter, but many people are already booking packages, including accommodation and Rover Tickets, in the knowledge that with 150 events to choose from, there's bound to be plenty to enjoy.
