BBC 'subsidies' to be investigated

CHRIS SMITH, the Secretary of State for Culture, has reportedly appointed Richard Whish, a professor of law at King's College London, to investigate whether the BBC is using licence-fee money to subsidise commercial activities at BBC Worldwide.
