CPNA members are urged to study their `MSF Works' literature as discussions about a possible merger with the Amalgamated Engineering Union gather pace. There will be a consultative poll in the near future, probably before September.

If proposals make progress they would then be subject to a 'recall' conference and then a full ballot. There are a number of avenues to raise questions.
