South Dakota Chooses Child Support Processing Solution

Today,  Dec 2003

The Stale of South Dakota, Office of Child Support Enforcement, recipient of the National Child Support Enforcement Association's 2003 "Outstanding Program of the Year" award, has selected DMP Payment Systems' (www.dmpinc.com) KidCARE child support payment processing solution to handle incoming payments.

The State of South Dakota was looking to replace its non-image DOS system with a solution that captures images of payments and related documents. DMP's KidCARE provides a platform to process paper-based payments, electronic payments, images of payments, and related "white paper" (documents that may accompany a payment).

Nebraska has been processing child support payments using DMP's KidCARE solution since December 2001 and has received recognition from the Federal ACF regional office for the successful implementation of a centralized collection and disbursement unit handling child support payments.

KidCARE handles large payment volumes on a daily basis. KidCARE can handle check, cash, credit card, and Internet payments through a proven payment processing system developed in the early 1990's.

"We have integrated two proven payment processing solutions that for years have processed billions of dollars worth of transactions in many of the nation's largest financial institutions. Utilizing NCR item capture transports and Microsoft technologies, DMP has been able to develop the industry's premier payment processing solution," said Jim Mills, president of DMP.
