RATING: R STARRING: Brad Pitt Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter, Meat Loaf Aday and Jared Leto DIRECTOR: David Fincher DISTRIBUTOR: 20th Century Fox GENRE: Drama INTENDED AUDIENCE:- Adults

SUMMARY: Fight Club is bizarre, kinetic and full of camera tricks and deeply disturbed material. It is perhaps the next cult movie to entice would-be vigilantes to repeated viewings. The Narrator, played by Edward Norton, has a cushy job and apartment Bored, he becomes addicted to selfhelp groups. One day, his apartment blows up, and he moves into a dilapidated house with a stranger named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt. The Narrator and Tyler start Fight Club. When the group plans mass destruction, the Narrator tries to stop it, but is in for a shocking revelation.

This is not a simple cops and robbers movie. After Columbine and the rise of vigilantism in America, this movie is completely irresponsible. Some cinephiles may love the snazzy cinematography, and the script, which is full of wry humor, off-beat statements and crazy details, but in Fight Club, the Narrator trades one false life for another, resulting in tragedy. Filled with violence and an abandonment of reason for falsehood, this ranks as one of the most dangerous movies released this year.
