When his brother George finds it more interesting to spend time with his friends than with his adopted mouse brother, Stuart their father assures Stuart, every cloud has a silver lining and that he will find his own friends. Thus, as Stuart's driving along in his little red roadster, a bird named Margalo falls into the seat nextto him. Pursuing her is an evil falcon, the animal crime lord of the city. After they escape the falcon, Stuart invites Margalo to stay atthe Little house, but Margalo is not the wounded bird she appears to be.
Stuart Little II is an incredible story. Every joke, which will not be revealed in this review, is on time and on target. Character arcs are clear. The suspense is exciting. The ingenuity is dramatic. Furthermore, the Little family is the type of family any child would want: they are loving, wise and full of concern and hope. Stuart Little 11 also contains an answered prayer. It is a must-see movie for families - as good as it gets.
CONTENT: Redemptive worldview with strong moral content, nun prays, reference to burning bush and Moses, cat's prayer answered, hero willing to lay down life for others, hero gives beloved her freedom, but moral content slightly diminfished by lying, which is rebuked, but perhaps not strongly enough; four mild obscenities; lots of action, cartoon-type violence, such as cat falls from building, mouse falls from building, mouse falls from airplane, falcon attacks bird, falcon attacks mouse; no sexual immorality; no nudity; no alcohol or smoking.
