Wish GOP Would 'Abuse' Power
Give the devil his due-at least the Dems know what power is for. If the conservatives had "abused their power," they'd still be in office [see "New House Majority Is Abusing Its Power," by Rep. Doug Lambom, February 19].

Don't Be Confused About Rudy
I have to comment on the recent article about Rudy Giuliani's "confusing" conservatives [see "Rudy Causes Confusion in GOP," by John Gizzi, February 26]. That argument just does not hold water. It is, however, a perfect example of why the Republican Party is in the sorry shape that conservatives find it in.
The only possible area of confusion would be whether the "R" behind his name stands for "Republican" or "RINO." That is nol confusion, it is lack of conviction. Republicans are all too willing to sell their political souls to support anyone with an "R" behind his name and a possibility of election.
Rudy has a chance to beat Hillary, and conservatives are falling all over themselves for that reason and that reason alone.
The recent elections should have been a wake-up call. Democrats were not swept into office. Republicans were swept out. As a conservative, I cannot and will not support Rudy Giuliani. I refuse to go to the polls anymore just to vote against someone, and judging by the recent elections results, 1 am not the only one who feels that way. Give me a candidate to vote for, or I don't vote!
