Surely the most unexpected of seventeenth-century Anglican theologians, so full of the joy in creation. Every twenty years or so during this century a new manuscript has turned up, culminating in the two found in 1997one in Washington, the other in Lambeth Palace Library in London. Perhaps he was too far ahead of us for us to have taken him in before now!
