Three photographs
Frontiers, 1994 by Roach, Louise
My images dwell somewhere in the realm of fantasy, a place and time I like to think of as a private mythology. Making use of photography, collage, and Xerox copying, I try to embody the "gray" region of life--that which is both good and bad, ugly and beautiful, truthful and a lie. For this is where each of us exists, whether it be in reality or in our own imaginations.
We all must wrestle with the opposites of life and create a middle ground of perception. (Photos omitted)
