AS YOU ENJOY A SUMMER of outdoor activities, cool off with these recipes. From frozen pops to smoothies, these deliciously light treats made with vitamin-rich fruit will give you and your little ones a hydrating boost.

Peach Pops
MAKES 14 SERVINGS
PREP: 5 MIN., CHILL: 10 MIN., FREEZE: 4 HRS.
2 cups fresh peach slices*
¼ cup sugar
1 1/3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
TOSS together peaches and sugar in a small bowl. Cover mixture, and chill 10 minutes.
PROCESS peach mixture and juices in a blender until smooth. Pour into 14 (¼-cup) plastic pop molds. Insert plastic pop sticks; freeze at least 4 hours. *Frozen peaches, partially thawed, may be substituted.
PEACH SLUSH: Add 3 cups ice cubes to blender with peach mixture and juices. Process until ice is finely ground. Serve immediately, or freeze for later use.

Strawberry Pops
MAKES 12 SERVINGS
PREP: 20 MIN., COOK: 5 MIN., FREEZE: 4 HRS.
1 cup water
½ cup sugar
1 pint fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons orange juice
BRING 1 cup water and ½ cup sugar to a boil in a saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and cool.
PROCESS cooled sugar mixture, strawberries, and juices in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Pour into 12 (¼-cup) plastic pop molds. Insert plastic pop sticks, and freeze 4 hours or until firm.
STRAWBERRY FREEZE: Prepare sugar mixture, and cool. Process strawberries and juices in a blender until smooth. Stir together cooled sugar mixture and strawberry mixture in a freezer-safe container; freeze at least 3 hours. Spoon into bowls.

Blackberry Smoothies
MAKES 4 SERVINGS

Sandi originally used strawberries instead of blackberries in this simple smoothie-you can use any of your favorite berries, or mix it up with a combination of fruit.
1 cup fat-free milk
1 pint low-fat frozen vanilla yogurt, softened
1 medium banana, coarsely chopped
½ cup fresh blackberries
PROCESS all ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Serve immediately.
