Fresh, fruity lemonades

Southern Living,  Apr 2003  by Talley, Cybil B,  Laury, Betty,  Biloudeau, Tracey

These thirst-quenching recipes are bursting with citrus juices and fruit.

When we decided to take a fresh approach to this favorite sweettart elixir, one look at some readers' recipes made it clear that you aren't just sipping plain lemonade.

Jazz up these jewel-toned sippers with ice cubes made from the same liquid. Fill ice cube trays with any lemonade recipe, and freeze until firm. Before freezing, tuck a maraschino cherry or your favorite fruit into each section to add a splash of color. CYBIL B. TALLEY
