Satellite Newspapers Explain Strategy for 2006, Newspapers for All
Satellite Newspapers Corp. (OTC BB: SNWP) has developed a strategy for 2006 that will combine the traditional newsprint business with newspapers also available through electronic digital methods, thus increasing sales.
In a strategic plan to push the Company forward, a wide range of options has become available. If the consumer wants an International Newspaper on Day A as it is printed, they can have that newspaper printed from the Satellite Kiosk (explained below).
If the consumer wants the paper delivered digitally and yet still looks like a full version of the newspaper that will also be possible. Satellite Newspapers introduces the Global Print Alliance (GPA). GPA brings together key elements for successful bulk printing of digital newspapers on Day A and delivers it anywhere in the world.
Through this alliance, SNWP has brought together print sites which use digital press such as Kodak, IBM, OCR, and others. Satellite has refined the process so that the digital print is of newspaper quality.
Satellite has incorporated within GPA, publishers' needs to have their newspapers printed around the world on Day A, without days of transport, to meet their customer's demands.
This system has generated vast interest from digital printers, manufacturers, newspaper publishers, and distribution/logistic companies.
