World (And Personal) Peace Achievable With Opposite Approach
Market Wire, November, 2002
World, corporate and personal peace and prosperity are easy to achieve using Opposite Approach, says Ilexa Yardley, 51, author of the newly-released Tanglewood Trilogy (Opposite Approach Publications, ISBN 07055669, November 2002).
Opposite Approach, the centerpiece of The Tanglewood Trilogy, shows that any person can analyze any situation by describing it as two sets of opposites. This makes all people, on some level, the same. The book demonstrates this important truth independent of geography, time period, and cultural, professional or educational background.

The trilogy's two other books, Relative Realities and Partial Truth, use symbols and verse to integrate the insights of Albert Einstein and Carl Jung with the highlights of the major scientific, psychological and spiritual thinking of the last several thousand years.
The message of The Tanglewood Trilogy is straightforward and important:
1) The world is a set of opposites (relative realities and partial truths) where people and things attract, repel, show and hide based on opposite and equal energy, actions or reactions (opposite approach);
2) World peace and prosperity are achieved when individuals feel safe and prosperous, although it is impossible to feel either over time without an adequate understanding of how the opposite works; and
3) It IS possible for all people to think clearly and to understand how everything fits together in one perfect whole (and, intuitively, people already have this understanding).
Because people find safety and prosperity at first in their minds, they can always create a safe and prosperous world. Obviously, the opposite is also true. Though it is neither possible nor necessary to control what or how people think, understanding the behavior of the opposite is integrally important to sustainable survival in the world.
Yardley, a former finance, technology and marketing manager, worked with people in corporate, government and educational settings for nearly thirty years. The Endnotes of the trilogy, in addition to delving into the deeper meaning of the books, give an encapsulated view of how her experience provided insights about the opposite.
Yardley's contention is that achieving individual, corporate and world peace is more an exercise in thinking than articulating or negotiating. The message of The Tanglewood Trilogy is the personal is general and the general personal (opposites are really equal).
As a symbolic gesture, Yardley is sending complimentary copies of her books to some of the worlds' most influential leaders in education, government, business and the media. "For one moment in time, I want to unite all of us around one way of thinking," stated Yardley when asked why she is doing this. Yardley was quick to point out, however, as do her books, that world peace is truly in the province (mind) of the individual.
