Former brewery site is toast of the town
Real Estate Weekly, Sept 21, 2005
According to Prudential Douglas Elliman, exclusive sales and marketing agent for Williamsburg's Schaefer Landing complex, the new luxury residences at Schaefer Landing North are 70% sold within two months of their sales "kick off."
This success in the new 26-story North Tower, which features 135 beautifully appointed residences, comes just weeks after a complete sell-out of Schaefer Landings South Tower.
"Schaefer Landing North is continuation of the same extraordinary attention to design, detail, and a quality of life that embodies Schaefer Landing," said Andy Gerringer, Managing Director of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Development Marketing Group.
Located in Brooklyn, Schaefer Landing has spearheaded the transformation of a once industrial area into a residential community filled with sophistication, style and culture. "It is no surprise that these buildings are selling out so quickly," said Gerringer.
Originally the site of the F&M Schaefer Brewery Company, renowned architect Gene Kaufman has transformed the site into Williamsburg's first waterfront luxury condominium--with incomparable river views and vistas of spectacular downtown Manhattan.
The residences at The Schaefer Landing North Tower, which range in size from 860 to 2,000 s/f, boast balconies, gardens and terraces. Each residence features lustrous oak floors, pre-wiring for phone, fax, cable TV and internet access, a washer/dryer in every home, expansive "tilt and turn" thermal pane windows and walk-in closets in many master bedrooms.
The community is being developed by Kent Waterfront Associates LLC, a tri-venture formed by three New York-based real estate companies active in building and managing residential properties throughout the metropolitan area--BFC Partners, L&M Equity Participants and Allstate Realty Associates.
Apartments ranges from $650,000, to $2 million.
