Veteran architect to be honored

State of Israel Bonds: will honor Ralph Mancini, chairman of the interior architecture firm Mancini Duffy, at the annual luncheon of its Architects, Designers, Engineers and Builders Division on Wednesday, June 23, at 11:30 a.m. at The St. Regis.
Gen. (Ret.) Yehuda Halevy, executive vice-president of Bar-Ilan University and a 27-year veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, will be guest speaker.
Mancini began his career in 1959 as an office boy in the architecture firm GHK and rose to become its president. In 1981, he established Ralph Mancini Associates and five years later acquired Duffy Incorporated, a leading interior design practice.
Today, Mancini Duffy employs 116 people in offices in New York, Washington, DC, Connecticut, and New Jersey and has completed hundreds of projects exceeding 65 million square feet of office space. Its New York clients include JP Morgan Chase, Time Warner, HSBC Bank USA and Goldman, Sachs.
