Becker boosts ranks of tax group at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP

Stuart Becker, CPA, has joined Marks Paneth & Shron, LLP, the 36th largest accounting firm in the United States, as a tax partner.

During his distinguished career in tax planning, tax preparation and tax consulting, Becker has built a strong practice providing these services to real estate entrepreneurs, family-owned business and their owners, publicly held companies and their senior executives and high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Marks Paneth & Shron, Becker acted as managing partner of his own firm, Becker & Company, LLC, which he founded in 1977.

Becker has extensive experience in tax planning for corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and in devising creative solutions to intricate tax problems. In his role as Partner of the firm, Mr. Becker will be responsible for creating, enhancing and preserving wealth throughout the life cycle of his clients' businesses as well as assisting high net worth individuals and their families in achieving their financial goals.

Joining Becker at MP&S is Alan Blecher, who was the technical director of Becker & Company, LLC. Blecher has joined the firm as senior tax manager.

Becker holds both an MBA in Taxation and a BS degree in Accounting from New York University's Stern School of Business.
