St. Supery's Dollarhide Ranch is a good place to grow Sauvignon blanc, if the '97 is any indication. Maybe it could use some Semillion, but why quibble? It's 100% Sauvignon, is light gold in color and is full on the palate. $9.90 is a fair price. Halibut or grilled sole would complete the picture. Tasted 9/99.
