Gambrinus releases new ads

The Gambrinus Company has announced it is rolling out new advertising campaigns for Corona Extra and Corona Light this month. The new campaigns will feature new television, print and outdoor. "This is our ninth year with The Richards Group, and this new pool of advertising will no doubt continue the brand's award winning tradition," said Don Mann, group general manager for The Gambrinus Company.

"We're particularly proud of our Corona Light efforts behind the 'Miles Away From Other Light Beers' strategic theme, now entering its eighth year of success." Mann said the Corona Extra campaign, "Miles Away From Other Beers," features new TV spots and will be supported by a $32 million nationwide campaign. "Ship in a Bottle," is a 30-second TV spot (pictured above) that begins with a ship sailing across the ocean. The view then pans out, illustrating a man holding an empty Corona bottle on its side and a woman watching as they sit on the beach. The ship appears to sail into the bottle and the woman then playfully corks the bottle with the lime. The new TV ads will be complimented with print and outdoor placements.
