Beck's new Premier Light

Modern Brewery Age,  Jan 10, 2005

InBev U.S.A. of Norwalk, CT, has introduced Beck's Premier Light, a 64-calorie light beer. InBev says that Beck's Premier Light will be the lowest calorie beer in the U.S. market. The brand starts shipping this month, with a full national rollout expected for March 1, 2005. Beck's Premier Light is also relatively low in carbs, with only 3.9 grams.

"We are very excited about early enthusiasm from retailers for Beck's Premier Light," says Victor Melendez, director of marketing at InBev USA. "It's a fantastic tasting beer that stays true to its German roots in both taste and its brewing process." The brand will be available in 12 oz non-returnable longneck bottles in 6, 12 and 24 packs, as well as on draught.
