Unilever has introduced Degree Body-Heat Activated Gel

Drug Store News,  Feb 18, 2002

CHICAGO -- Unilever has introduced Degree Body-Heat Activated Gel, its first antiperspirant and deodorant designed specifically for men.

"Since we launched Degree in 1990, our body-heat activated proposition has been extremely popular with U.S. consumers," said Esther Lem, vice president of deodorant brand development for Unilever North America.

With a suggested retail price starting at $2.89 for a 3-ounce package, Degree Body-Heat Activated Gel will be available in three scents: exhilaration, cool rush and stamina. Rolling out next month, Degree will support the launch with print and TV ads that begin in March, as well.
