Teva Pharmaceuticals is the latest generic drug company to receive tentative FDA approval to market the antibiotic cirpofioxacin, the unbranded form of Bayer's Cipro. It goes off brand in December 2003. Mylan and Danbury Pharmacueuticals also plan generic launches.
