Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs are gearing up to launch Fujifilm's GetPix Digital Dropbox, which combines a traditional film box with a digital order terminal

Drug Store News,  Oct 10, 2005

Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs are gearing up to launch Fujifilm's GetPix Digital Dropbox, which combines a traditional film box with a digital order terminal. Shoppers will be able to pick up prints in-store two days after either dropping off film or inserting their various digital media into the Dropbox.

Shoppers can take their digital media with them right after the images are uploaded to Fujicolor Processing, which charges 13 cents to 15 cents per print. All 3,400 Wal-Mart and Sam's locations will have the Dropbox by next month. Also available through the Dropboxes are multiple print sizes, greeting cards, stickers, puzzles, digital album CDs and mousepads.
