Nestle S.A

Drug Store News,  Oct 10, 2005

VEVEY, Switzerland -- Nestle S.A. has announced the departure of chief financial officer Wolfgang Reichenberger, effective in January.

Reichenberger is leaving the company to form a partnership between Dr. Gunnar Weikert, founder and chairman of Inventages Venture Capital Investments, and the board of Nestle S.A.

Succeeding Reichenberger is Paul Polman, former group president of Procter & Gamble Europe, effective Jan. 1. Polman, whose appointment reportedly came as a surprise to many analysts given that he is a company outsider, is credited for turning around P&G's European business.
